Board member 2018–2019
I was born and raised in HRM and, except for a two year stint in Montreal attending McGill, have lived all my years in Nova Scotia. I am an outdoor enthusiast who believes strongly in conservation, ecosystem protection, and in the health benefits of being in nature.
We are all very fortunate to live in a place with such excellent access to nature, the outdoors, and wilderness spaces. As a very active family, the Bluff Trail has been in our weekly hiking rotation for over five years. I decided that 2018 was going to be my year to get more involved in my community and WRWEO, and the Bluff Trail seemed like a great place to start. If you spend any time on the trail, you’ll know it is cared for deeply by a very dedicated group of volunteers. I’m excited to have the opportunity to give back by participating on the board, and look forward to contributing and learning a lot.
