Veronica Stinson statement, offering for Board at WRWEO AGM 2025 (in abentia)

As someone who has had the privilege of spending countless hours exploring the wilderness in various corners of this world, including the Bluff Trail and surrounding areas, I feel a strong commitment to habitat preservation and wildlife protection. My professional work is in the area of psychological science (I am a professor of psychology at Saint Mary’s University – my research area is forensic psychology). Although I do not have academic or professional experience in these areas, I am willing to work with others to protect the Woodens River Watershed and ensure that any human footprints do not jeopardize this important ecosystem.
